Correct, but you don’t try to fix the cancer. you try to fix the body. Government and society (culture, economy, social intereactions) are not the same thing. They are different things and government, time and time again does horrible things while progress in society comes first. The improvements made are done culturally or economically with government ratifying it when it pleases or when it is convenient or profiftable for it. In the mean time it does awful things to people, communities, and entire nations.
