Here is where you have it wrong. You cant measure progress nor effects by using one metric. Especially a metric that lags behind forcing function inputs by up to decades (depending on which cycle you are measuring).

It sound like success only come from and immediate response to some action and then everything will be better. Nothing could be further from the truth.

First of all, government interference in our ability to feel scarcity is what got us here in the first place. We don’t know how much gas and coal costs because the governments have been laying down roads, subsidizing the industries, placing pipelines, and limiting liability for 100 years.

You think these same groups of people are going to fix this? They will just limit consumer choices, while commercial and industrial production goes unabated. We see this almost every time.

Its not that market solution are just one way to approach this… its the only way.
