I think NFTs are basically useless in their current form, but this statement is fundamentally wrong. Its not "just a database", if that were so it wouldnt be different than redundant databases that facebook or the Fed currently us. Hackable, attackable, mutable. The fundamental thing that make a blockchain a blockchain ar the cryptographically connected transactions which thousands of computers find consesnus on, creating an immutable ledger. This ledger is what exists no where else, and mft an NFT immutable. Which is why it is an NFT, and not just a string of data. Now how do I tak the rest of this article seriously?
