I’m sorry you have spent no time understanding free markets and capitalism Crony Capitalism is an affect of centralizing authority over capitalism. It’s what you get when you try to implement socialism. There is no capitalism in crony capitalism. There is only centralized control. It is how the most evil and the most greedy get to have power. Centralized control are anathema to both individual sovereignty and free markets. Private property and self sovereignty, the foundation of capitalism, does even require a government at all.

If you enjoy socialism, then let’s take a look at the largest and strongest countries around the world that have embraced it, and then tell me which ones you think are good to live in. I invite you to live in Russia, North Korea, Brazil, heck, most south american countries, and tell me if this is progress for humanity.

Meanwhile countries that embrace free markets, have lower crime, higher educational levels, lower domestic violence. Denmark, Australia, France, Germany, Switzerland, while certainly still trying to slap rules on top of free markets, basically embrace concepts of private property, one of the fundamental rights of a capitalistic society.

The best countries, the countries where the citizens excel the most, embrace free markets and individual agency. Sadly, people who think centralized control of their lives, like you seem to, have never actually experienced the large scale result of that thinking. You think individuals shouldn’t have agency, otherwise you would wretch at the idea of soclialist policies.
