Isn't this the exact issue.

But . . (1) the LCOE (lifetime cost) of building / operating a solar farm-battery beats nuclear power plant by between a factor of 2–5 per MW in EVERY SINGLE analysis I’ve seen.
I’m not anti-nuclear. But solar-battery KILLS.

Isn't this the exact issue. The lifetime of a new nuke is 80-100 years. Lifetime of a new solar is 25, and new battery even less.
Apples vs oranges.
