My Purifier (GermGuardian with a carbon filter + HEPA) absolutely saves me during allergy season. I am confused about the angle the article seems to make with Molekule havings a special UV light to oxidize allergens. GermGuardian has this feature too as do other units.

I think this article could have added information about the use of carbon filters and care (because if they are not sealed when they arrrive then they are no good, they become deactivated when exposed to air). Carbon filters help with smells and volatiles that are in the air (not pollen or particles so much)

I am also suprised that a company like VitalVio has not entered this market as they have light technology that is not UV that also provides sanitization of the air. Not a plug, I dont work for them, but they came out of the same college I went to.
