Oh look! We are talking about this, but over there is THAT! Try to stick to one subject. Lets see if we can tie to together to make it scary.

You are right, it doesnt matter if you are here legally or born here if you are latino (or any other ancestry). No one here are talking about those people.

We are talking about people who knowingly entered the country illegally and then expected to receive all the rights, protections, and privileges associated with being here legally without consequence.

They did this despite a legal process for entry existing AND knowing about it.

But yeah, orange man came in and bow the exact same laws and enforcement methods that have been used for decades are somehow wrong now and those who decided to commit crimes should just be left alone? Why are the crimes jan6 people did bad, and illegally crossing the border OK?

I’ll say it again for those that cant hear in the back. Immigration is necessary, desired, and otherwise a positive things. We probably need more of it and the system needs to be made more efficient.

I don’t have sympathy for people who traveled through a half dozen perfectly good countries to escape whatever conditions they came from to settle illegally unless the benefits they provide match those they cost. Jan6 is an issue that doesn’t need to be conflated with immigration, to ve a bad thing by itself.
