Seems that older people carry the most debt. The wealthy carry the most credit card debt. Student loans are definitely plaguing those who went to college (especially those who went to college for vague and hard to monetize degrees in low demand) only 62% of high school grads go to college.

Only about half of those have student debt, and the average debt is about 30K, hardly a bankrupting amount.

I think you are trying to create a rich vs poor feudalist scenario, when this is a hard case to make.

There is a feudalist system that may already be in place, but is a techno-feudalist system where power comes from the control and ownership of technology (as opposed to land in historical senses).

I think you missed the boat on this article because you didnt check facts, and just went for a tired “eat the rich” angle.
