That is likely because you have not bothered to spend any time understanding the atual effects of regulations on market and their ability to adapt. I bet you really hated Martin Shkreli. Remember him? Pharma Boy? The ENTIRE reason he was able to jack up the price for an extremely inexpensive drug was due to FDA regulations preventing others from competing with him. Now multiply this by every single product on the market subject to patent law, OSHA laws, FDA laws, tax laws, etc. Now it costs millions of dollars to develop a news drug and release it to market. It's impossible to freely release products and services that are monoplized both by competitors who have government granted monopolies via patent or regulation or to survive assaults from patent trolls and government regulators.

When workers are paid so little, they should walk away. By stealing their agency from them through the build up of a protection state, they will continue to get squeezed out of every cent because they are being programmed to think that some white government knight is coming to save them. LOL.

You may not buy into this idea, that doesnt change the fact that this is the main problem.
