There are wider seats in the front already. They cost more.

I just cant get on board with the idea that society must accommodate people who voluntarily do that to themselves.

Yes, i said voluntarily. Morbidly obese is a choice. Im not talking about overweight, or even medically obese. (We all have a range)

The seats already accomodate people who arent triathletes. But why should businesses, or society in general, make people’s choice to be morbidly obese, a condition that makes society for everyone else more expensive, be free if consequences?

I pay extra for extra leg room because i am tall, condition i didn’t even voluntarily choose.

People who are morbidly obese can start their own airline that accommodates their market.

Frankly, i’d say it was within an airline rights to ask people’s weight before they are seated.
