This is awful. I would ike to gently suggest that this, and the more "mainstream" #metoo are a reaction to women losing their agency. I realize that "women as property" removed agency a long time ago. But as we, as modern, society, left that behind, we never really rallied around individual agency, for women, for minorities, etc etc.

Instead, we wait for laws to be put in place for fix the thing (whatever the thing is), thereby separating individuals from their own agency by longer and longer distances. I appluad anyone who comes out, acting on their own agency, saying "no", Its hard. Maintaining personal sovereignty is hard, but the more we do it, the better chance we have of normalizing "No" and standing together, locally, in our own groups, to enforce the "no"
