utility grade solar and wind is going up so fast in NY, that there are actually communities want it to slow down. they arent pro oil, they just don't want the change to happen so fast by fiat. these same people have solar panels on thier house, it is not fear against the technology, it is fear of change of (or desire to maintain) their surroundings. nothing to do with the tech
