Well, I can’t say I feel strongly against it. But los of people provide solutions to problems that don’t help. In your case, you are adding a character for no reason.

I dont see how this doesnt have symmetry about the orange line. It doesn’t add any characters. It seems that your issue is that you were taught that numbers start at 1, when they start at 0.

Examples of added friction:
0) you added another character to the number system, making it basically a base 11 number system
1) What does working in base 11 achieve?

Multiplication tables work just fine

3) what is wrong with the set of 10 numbers that start with 1 being called “teens” when you have another row that starts with delta…they are just “delteens”

4) what lap counting issue? the first digit in the left column lap counts, that is how based number systems all work regardless of the base.
